Rose Tree Media community members spoke out at the RTM school board meeting, Jan. 23, about what they say is ongoing discrimination and deception in the District.
They are and have been for some time frustrated, angry and disappointed with the board's response to their issues and place the burden of blame on the Superintendent.
They are raising their voices and turning up the heat.
With firm purpose and clear voices, three residents, Mary Edwards, community activist, Liz Womack, Parents' Network member and Robert Durnell, Penncrest parent of a student "clotheslined" by a security guard, stood, separately, before the board and asked that the Superintendent resign.
"The Rose Tree Parents' Network and the Citizens' Community Task Force feel the most honorable way is for (Superintendent Laird) Warner to resign," said Mrs. Edwards.
She said she would always be at war with injustice and that after all that has been reported to the administration, racial discrimination continues.

RTM, by the way, is mostly upper middle class with some kids from blue collar families.
