A big bump for a nice post on the greatest U.S. President of the 20th century. I'm proud to say I voted for President Clinton twice, but regret he did not have a Democratic Congress to support the President's ideas for the last 6 years of his term.

The Clinton recession began in August, 1999 and was clearly in it's early stage by the end of 1999. Today's economic woes are clearly the main portion of the Clinton Recession, the longest recession in modern history and certainly the result of Willie, his criminality and the criminality of those around him. No administration in history has been as filthy or corrupt as the impeached Willie Clinton!

Not to mention that he sold nuclear weapons technology to the Chinese, paid to the North Koreans to develope nuclear weapons, lied under oath, encouraged others to lie under oath, murdered hundreds of innocents in Bosnia to get his name off the front page, smoked dope in a foreign country while protesting against his country, raped a woman, sold pardons, ad nauseum. Have I forgotten anything?

BTW, what EXACTLY did the ass do to creat that utopian society?

This is Monday-morning quarterbacking after their team (a loose conglomeration of social misfits) lost the game big-time last night. With enemies like Susan Saran Wrap and Bela Pelosi, who needs friends like Jack T?

Believe it or not, this drivel is posted on the Whitehouse.gov web site, in the list of US presidents. I saw it the other day when I was poking around there. It must have been written by one of hillary's ghost-writers.

Bill who?

Would this be the guy, the only positive aspects of whose sorry administration were the ones he stole from Gingrich's Contract With America and claimed credit for later? The one who managed to put the brakes on a decade of Republican-engendered prosperity? The one who managed to drag the office of the Presidency through the sewer and have his throne-sniffers declare it to smell like roses? That one?

For contrast and Comparison

Ronald Reagan

At the end of his two terms in office, Ronald Reagan viewed with satisfaction the achievements of his innovative program known as the Reagan Revolution, which aimed to reinvigorate the American people and reduce their reliance upon Government. He felt he had fulfilled his campaign pledge of 1980 to restore "the great, confident roar of American progress and growth and optimism."
...
Overall, the Reagan years saw a restoration of prosperity, and the goal of peace through strength seemed to be within grasp.

This is called "the things the republican house of representatives did that Clinton took credit for":

During the administration of William Jefferson Clinton, the U.S. enjoyed more peace and economic well being than at any time in its history. He could point to the lowest unemployment rate in modern times, the lowest inflation in 30 years, the highest home ownership in the country's history, dropping crime rates in many places, and reduced welfare roles. He proposed the first balanced budget in decades and achieved a budget surplus. Umm, he also had plans to SPEND THAT SURPLUS.

How is it possible to ban racism? We banned murder a long time ago and that still happens.

As part of a plan to celebrate the millennium in 2000, Clinton called for a great national initiative to end racial discrimination.

How do you claim "the era of small government is over" through proposing MORE legislation and regulations?

Clinton shifted government emphasis, declaring "the era of big government is over." He sought legislation to upgrade education, to protect jobs of parents who must care for sick children, to restrict handgun sales, and to strengthen environmental rules.

In the world, he successfully dispatched peace keeping forces to war-torn Bosnia and bombed Iraq when Saddam Hussein stopped United Nations inspections for evidence of nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons. All without UN approval. He became a global proponent for an expanded NATO, more open international trade, and a worldwide campaign against drug trafficking. I guess campaigning is better than seeing any positive results. He drew huge crowds when he traveled through South America, Europe, Russia, Africa, and China, (in the same areas that are now against us with policy tward Iraq).advocating U.S. style freedom yeah, the democrats style, socialism.

Face it, Clinton ignored the gathering storm and did everything he could to feed his ego and stay in power.

Yeah and while your hero was wallowing around the oval office with his pants down around his ankles singing 'it's all about the economy', ignoring attacks on American interests around the world, appeasing thugs and selling our enemies secret information, our national security was going in the toilet. But apparently that doesn't matter to you. The pig was/is a disgrace

OK, so let's assume that Saint Krintong did all those things! And then what? Wouldn't you say he betrayed his loyal fans by walking away and not making any of it permanent? You wouldn't? Why not? You miserable suckers!
