Yup.

George Ryan (R-idiot) would have him back on the streets.
Since the anti-DP folks always argue a)he didn't do it b) he didn't receive adequate counsel or c)he's retarded so killing him falls under "cruel and unusual punishment", I guess this one falls under c.
Too bad for him he's white or the media would be giving him his 30 minutes of fame.

I understand that Texas is going to have celebrities lined up to push the button... Great idea! We could have a great celebrity lineup - Hank Williams, Jr., Dr. Laura, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Yao Ming, Charlton Heston ("just squeeze the trigger, Chuck"). Maybe they'll sign autographs afterwards....

The gun then jammed but he had another pistol, a .357-caliber Magnum, concealed in a boot. He just happened to bring two guns to a conversation about a bad check "problem".

Of course he brought two guns to the dispute! His checks, written as a sovereign sui juris Preamble freeborn White Male Sovereign Citizen of Virginia were good, it was the illegal fiat money the banking monopoly insisted on using that was bad, and he wasn't going to surrender HIS rights, nosirree! </"Patriot" whacko rhetoric>

"We believe she was trying to call 911, and he reached through the window and shot her," McWilliams said. "What she must have gone through!" Dial 911 and die.

Q. What do Texans call six executions in January?
