Great. We buy some BMW's and RPG's for a bunch of thugs with our hard-earned money. These are the same "leaders" who routinely starve thousands to death but we can trust them with this money for AIDS because it's supposedly a good campaign issue.

Heh... I just had a cynical thought.... One of the African countries hardest hit by AIDS is South Africa. South Africa has some of the most important natural resources in the world.... gold, platinum, diamonds, chromium (I think)....
How much of this is a buy-in to get a better price on South African resources?
