She "breaks down" twice; she ran over him 3 times.

No sympathy. Divorce could have been equally painful, and completely legal. Stupid woman.

I doubt it was *sudden* passion, she'd hired a private investigator and gone on a shopping spree that day. And no matter how mad she was, she surely knew that running over him twice would most likely kill him. She can cry a river now, but she murdered the jerk.

The gruesome testimony prompted the woman, Clara Harris, on trial for her husband's murder, to shake and weep audibly, at one point collapsing onto the table in front of her.

Guillotine! Guillotine!

She claims she accidentally struck David Harris,

Dumb move, she's toast.

She *might* have gotten off on a temporary insanity defense, but it's just stupid to try to claim that running him over multiple times was an "accident".

Not only is a "run 'em over several times" accident pretty unbelievable by itself, but it's entirely unbelievable when she "happened" to have a motive and frame of mind to do it on purpose.

I could be wrong, but, I'd heard that the current missus was "the other woman" before they were married! Can anyone confirm or deny?

They've only been married 10 years but have a 16 year old daughter.

The girl was his daughter, but her stepdaughter. Poor kid will have serious head problems for the rest of her life (the girl was in the car as step-mom ran over and killed dad). When they're done convicting this worthless scum for murder, they should try her for aggravated child abuse next.

I personally think that this woman has lived the dream of many a cheated-upon wife in this world. He should be glad that she had the class to do him in with a Benz rather than a Geo. What she did wasn't right, but if he would have ended the marriage before whoring around, he might still be alive to talk about it.

I think her tears are mostly motivated by the realization that she ain't gonna get away with it.

Her biggest error was she was sober. She would have gotten a max of 5yrs for DUI manslaughter.

Well.....with about half the population committing an adulterous act at least once in their life. That would constitute a rather alarming number of passion-murders.

He was wrong for his adultery.....But dead wrong? No, I don't think so. She's a death penalty candidate.
