Willie, I asked you to stand with the president, I understand where you stand right now. Now, I am respectfully asking you to stand down.
Exactly who the hell are you? The head cheerleader?...the organizer of the pep rally? Supreme commander of the fraternity of Bushbots? What? If you don't exactly agree %100 with everything GWB says and does then you're not "standing" with the president? Uh-huh...right...your just miffed that someone disagrees with you and is spoiling your little love fest. If you can't handle people disagreeing with you, than stop posting at FR and look into starting your own tribute to Bush website. This is a conservative FORUM...where ISSUES are discussed and debated...if you cant handle that...then go home.

W is the best thing that has happened to the US in a very long time. He is Reagan's and Lincoln' s ideological son.
He is the Man of the Moment!
To: Luis Gonzalez
Great essay Luis.
I'm standing with him too.
To: Luis Gonzalez
We stand PROUDLY with this President. What a Godsend he is!!
We've never been prouder. We noticed that he stood strong during his speech last night, but we could feel the compassion (real, not faked) when he spoke of the possibility of sending our troops into war. You can be assured it "does" and "will" break his heart as any American soldier dies. EVERY SINGLE ONE!!
We really feel for our President, and we know he NEEDS our prayers and support. We shudder to think were this nation would be heading without his leadership.
We give THANKS to God that he was elected. We honestly believe he will go down in history as one of (if not "THE") Best President in history. Mark our words.
BTW,.. we were naysayers about his run for President. During the primarys we supported a different candidate. Reluctantly we supported President Bush in the final election.
We are proud to say "We were WRONG". Sometimes God really does intervene,..and his presidency "is" a BLESSING!!
Our support of President Bush started when we voted for him during the election, and then increased as we saw Gore try to steal and cheat his way into office. It has grown ever since,..and so has our love for this GREAT President and our respect and admiration for him, and for his ability to lead and to run this country.
We stand with you Luis..and so do many many other vets.
God Bless our President, his administration,..and our troops!!! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!

Thanks Luis.
Those who hate our president more than the mass murderer Saddam, are mentally ill.

When your Pat sat there this week with Bill Press and the Perv Ritter and didn't challenge the perv Ritter, he showed what a worthless POS he is.
His meal ticket for decades has been to be the token not real conservative on the tv hit shows.
Pat will go straight to hell for the damage he has done is trying to do for America.
Go to hell, Pat!

Pat should tell us what he really thinks of the lying traitor pervert Ritter. Perhaps he's eyeing Scottie for the veep slot on his next Reform Party run?

Go to hell, Pat!Notice any similarities, gramps?
Friends, neither Beltway party is going to drain this swamp, because to them it is not a swamp at all, but a protected wetland and their natural habitat. They swim in it, feed in it, spawn in it. -- Patrick J. Buchanan, "A Plague on Both Your Houses"
"The old parties are husks, with no real soul within either, divided on artificial lines, boss-ridden and privilege-controlled, each a jumble of incongruous elements, and neither daring to speak out wisely and fearlessly on what should be said on the vital issues of the day."
-- Teddy Roosevelt, Speech -- August 6, 1912, Chicago, Illinois.

Pat and Scotty would be a great team. The Perv and his supporter, Pattie, could defend their Uncle Soddomite during the next election. Uncle Soddomite would be glad to finance it. However, they should collect their blood money quickly before their Uncle Soddomite gets whacked by some Iraqi who is not insane.
What third party will they destroy this election! Maybe they can be Greens or something.

You have totally lost it, Willie.
Teddy would kick Pat's perverted ass and yours if he was around. He didn't tolerate those who wanted to hurt America. Teddy had zero problem of clobbering those who cheered our enemies.

Somehow, I doubt that. Yes, I understand. It's because you assume too much.
Class warriors concentrate on origins and material net worth. That could be why you do not appear to get it. But that's ok, because it does seem as though a majority of Americans do.
If I were a 'class warrior', whatever that is, then your assumption might be warranted, but I'm not.
I prefer to argue the merits of a proposition based on factual evidence, so I can see I'm wasting both our time here.
Good luck tilting at those windmills, though.

Teddy had zero problem of clobbering those who cheered our enemies.Ever wonder what Teddy would have said about Dubya sucking up to Vicente Fox???
The man who loves other countries as much as his own stands on a level with the man who loves other women as much as he loves his own wife.
-- Teddy Roosevelt
To: Willie Green
First, you must prove that President Bush loves other countries as much as his own. Given his standing up to the UN, steel tariffs, dumping Kyoto, misssile defense shield, etc. you are going to have a difficult time.
Secondly, are you trying to infer that Teddy Roosevelt would not have supported President Bush's positions? That also you will have to support with more than a cut and paste of carefully selected quotes.
To: Miss Marple
Secondly, are you trying to infer that Teddy Roosevelt would not have supported President Bush's positions?I think that, unlike Bush and more like PJB, Teddy wouldn't have wasted 1 minute of America's time putting up with Woodrow Wilson's legacy: the United Nations and NATO. Teddy has the same America First! gumption that PJB has and would've told 'em all to take a flying leap from the get go.
Every immigrant who comes here should be required within five years to learn English or leave the country.
-- Theodore Roosevelt, Kansas City Star (April 27, 1918).
To: Willie Green; nicollo
Well, who is saying that the President doesn't support immigrants learning English?
nicollo, you are more well-versed in this historical period than am I. If you have pertinent comments, I would appreciate them. Thanks!
To: Miss Marple
nicollo, you are more well-versed in this historical period than am I.You should bone-up on Teddy Roosevelt, Miss Marple.
The History Channel just ran a special on his life, and it was truly interesting.
There are differences of course, but anybody who is intellectually honest would have to admit the uncanny similarity between Teddy's and PJB's philosophies on a wide gamut of issues.
To: Luis Gonzalez
Great picture. I just heard his MI speech. It was great and moving!
