Infuriating bumper sticker

While at college today, I happened to see a bumper sticker on a faculty member's car. It read "THE ROAD TO HELL IS PAVED WITH REPUBLICANS!".
I was really mad when I read that bumper sticker. I thought, isn't this typical of liberals! If a conservative says anything like that, we are labeled haters, bigots, Jesus-freaks, self-righteous, etc.

As for myself, I like the bumper sticker, "Have you pistol whipped a Democrat today?"

I hit upon this slogan idea recently. This graphic would really "sell" the concept (but the quote would need to be dated/attributed to Neville Chamberlain so that the libs wouldn't pin us as "Nazi" supporters).
VISUALIZE WORLD APPEASMENT
"Peace in our lifetime"

I guess no one told this anti-Republican socialist rat that their bumpersticker would mean that the Republican's intentions are "good" (as the Road to Hell is paved with good intentions). DemonRats intentions, however...

Not surprising for a college prof - they're too used to being babysat by taxpayers to know what the real world is all about. My college daughter, who is a Freeper, has loads of fun pointing out all the errors in the liberal thinking of the profs and students. In one class she's the only conservative but she has made progress in getting some of those "minds full of mush" to start thinking for themselves. Progress is being made which makes me think we should be courting conservative college students to Free Republic and turn them loose to factually question the idiots who have such a bumper sticker on their car.

My brother has one that says it's paved with liberals. so what's the big deal?

Ugly people drive ugly cars with ugly/inane bumper stickers.
Don't worry about it: just don't get into a wreck with them unless your insurance is fully paid-up.

it's like Rush says, the liberals are going crazy with republicans having a slight majority status. I think it's just plain funny. It means that the democrats are beginning to lose.

You're a better man than me. I for one have reached my limit and I would have waited beside this person's car till they returned.....
Nobody but nobody is going to accuse me to my face of anything....
To: zcat
I THINK I know who the car belonged to and, to the best of my knowledge, it wasn't an instructor. I was going to be ready and flip the person off if she looked my way.

"THE ROAD TO HELL IS PAVED WITH REPUBLICANS!"....
You should know that it is true. We are rolling out the Red Carpet for the Demonics, I mean Democrats. It just so happens that the carpet isn't long enough for the Pearly Gates..

she looked my way.
The fact she's a female certainly changes my attitude. Being a male, I certainly can't justify the action I would have taken with her as I would have had it been a man. When it comes to women I remain a gentleman......(grumble, grumble, grumble....)

How about the following bumpersticker:
IT WASN'T A LIBERAL SOCIALIST WHO DIED FOR YOUR FREEDOM!
GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, GOODBYE HUSSEIN!
To: Paul Atreides
If you can read this, you must be a Republican

"Back in '93, I remember my first day of college: I had three instructors get up on the first day and say what a wonderful president that Bill Clinton was going to be. Mind you, none of these classes were political courses...."Yes, and they continue to poison, I am sure. Were I of great means, I would sponsor your sending them copies of: the Starr Report, both Barbara Olson books, the Gertz books, the Timperlake (sp?) books, Alamo-Girl's DSL, oh, you get the point. In any event, nice to see you here on FR and not DU. ;^)

Doesn't matter to me. First, she is a liberal woman, who at least claims to being treated equally. Second, she has told me to go to Hell, and I will give a suitable reply.
To: Paul Atreides
The one that I have seen recently says: "Women are great leaders. You are following one."
The only time I ever see the bumper sticker is when the vehicle is parked in the office parking lot. ;-)
