They are NOT naive. The little commies have decided that they would give up their "revolutionary violence" so that they could attract more people to their rallies. People they said, "Don't want to be tear gassed."

It's the soccer moms who come out that are catching fleas, not the commies.

Personally, a little tear gas may be needed before the soccer moms realize how screwed up they are.

Having read the chapter I found it a bit whishy washy in terms of what we have discussed. It seems that DAN and by extension the Black Block were itching for a confrontation, in fact it seems quite clear they were goading for one.

When you choose to radicalize and whip up people into a frenzy as a means of protest and the protest melts down into a riot, who is to blame?
