What is it going to say??? More than likely: "Never Mind..." (gutless U.N.)

WASHINGTON -- United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan quietly slipped into the White House Wednesday night for an unannounced high-level dinner hosted by President and Mrs. Bush in the Red Room.
I wonder if George will bust out his box of Pretzels of Doom (tm) for Kofi.....

Second resolution being drafted right now at the UN...Maybe. But I just walked over there and the building is pretty dark. It doesn't look like anything is going on at the moment. Lots of barricades set up and 18 TV trucks lined up in front - all ready for tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up on Hitchens. Inspite of himself, Geraldo has put together an interesting debate, and he has the good sense to let his guests go at it.
as for the rest of this thread....

What is the SuperBowl? Oh, come on - you know - the night when they show some really funny television commercials - along with some really cheesy ones as well.

Geraldo had another guy on that said the British public considers Bush an illegitimate president and a pinhead. He agreed with them, too. Hitchins was the only one that stood up for President Bush...he has come over from the dark side and supports this war completely.

You're welcome. I just can't stand Geraldo anymore. And I can't stand these wimpy countries saying that President Bush was not elected, he's stupid, he's a cowboy, he's a pinhead...It's just too much. Geraldo is also going to have Susan McDougal on...UGH! Time to turn the TV off.

Geraldo had another guy on that said the British public considers Bush an illegitimate president and a pinhead. Thanks for the synopsis... I just automatically tuned that dude out when he raved about how much the British Public liked Clinton. Just easier on myself and an old habit.

France has already said they'd veto anything is a precursor to war...Maybe they will, maybe they won't. I don't agree when people say, "Chirac can't back down now."
The great thing Chirac has going for him is that French voters don't believe anything any of their politicians say, and therefore don't get upset if they reverse themselves on a dime, or stare into the camera and tell lies that everyone knows are idiotic (As in: "There is no antisemitism in France"), or mouth blatant absurdities (As in: "There's no proof Iraq has WMD programs, and besides the inspections are freezing their WMD programs").
The norm there is apparently is not just ordinary politicians' lying, it's baldfaced Clinton-Gore style tell-a-whopper-when-the-truth-would-do-as-well lying. Think what our attitude towards politics would be if we'd had Clinton after Clinton for about fifty years.
To: Wait4Truth
Saw the show with Christopher Hitchens.........he also said that France vetoed the weapons inspector that would get the job done in favor of Hans Blix.
Geraldo tried to cut Chris off but couldn't do it very well.
Go Chris, go!

FOXNEWS Rita Cosby, of US Supreme Court BUSH v Gore Decision Fame, had an ex CIA officer that said...
If it is true that there has been a compromise on the UNMOVIC inspection team while in IRAQ, then it is game over...
I say it is "TILT". Someone pushed too hard and the machine says we are canceling the game because people are not playing fairly.

I thought we didn't need another resolution? The problem with this is that there is no rule book. They make it up as they go along.

1 vote against it (by France, Russia, or China) would kill it. We could have 14 votes and still lose.
