Now this is getting humorous...we are attacking during the SOTU, on Jan 31 when Blair is here, on Feb 1, Feb 15, on March 1, and March 15...there will be a new resolution, there will not be a new resolution...the military is ready, the military is not ready...we have proof against Saddam, we don't have proof against Saddam...Colin Powell is a dove, Colin Powell is now a hawk...the President is wavering, the President is firm....I am getting dizzy. LOL!

If there is not 9 votes in favor of the resolution... we will walk away from it before submitting it, and announce the fact that the UN has again become the League of Nations.

The UN is going to get tough this time and tell Iraq that they really should quit laughing at the UN.

GWB's dinner guest

WASHINGTON -- United Nations Secretary General Kofi Annan quietly slipped into the White House Wednesday night for an unannounced high-level dinner hosted by President and Mrs. Bush in the Red Room.

The unexplained social event comes at a time when Bush and Annan are at odds over Iraq's Saddam Hussein. They disagree over whether the U.S. needs to return to the U.N. Security Council before taking military action in Iraq.

Also attending the private (spouses included) dinner were Secretary of State Colin Powell, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist and Sen. Richard Lugar, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. http://www.townhall.com/columnists/robertnovak/

Is the US submitting this new resolution?

Not if there are not 9 countries from the Security Council who say they will support it.
