Because the fedgov STEALS it's money from you. And I'll bet you thought you gave it "voluntarily".
No offense meant...It just pisses me off to no end that people have no idea how much the "government" takes form them and the "government" has no idea where that money goes.
when this SKAM came out, only Rush Limbaugh publically acknowledged that this was a PART TIME grant (5 years). Communities were to get federal bribes (grants) to up their police forces (hire JBTs) BUT the bribes (grants) were to DECREASE year by year over a 5 year period until the communities were to pick up the total tab.
Guess what... no body planned...nobody read the fine print.
Klinton's regeim was a farce, at best, but most probably...treason.

Don't ask me - I'm confused too! Police are a state function - like education it doesn't make sense to tax us and then send back less than we sent in ... sigh.
