President George Bush has been displaying increasing impatience with the pace of inspections and is eager to start the bombing.A thinly-disguised hit piece, imho... I seriously doubt that Bush is 'eager' to start the bombing... I believe he is, however, eager to end this in whatever way makes the most sense. Big difference...

The US intends to shatter Iraq "physically, emotionally and psychologically" by raining down on its people as many as 800 cruise missiles in two days. The writer indicates his anti-war agenda in the first sentence.
There is no way in the world that we're going to destroy the Baghdad water supply. This whole piece is designed to make us look like brutal thugs.

THEY put out some pretty vicious stuff out of Paris every day," John F. Kennedy complains in a tape recording newly made available by the late president's library. "They either attack us for trying to dominate Europe or they attack us for withdrawing from Europe, or that we won't use our nuclear force or that we'll get them into a war and they're not consulted." Thanks to Samurai_Jack for this quote.

One of the reasons that we are being so deliberate is probably because if my memory serves,"BeelzeBubba"shot off most of our cruise-missle stocks!

German is now the major power in Europe No, I think the United States is now the major power in Europe; the whole rest of the planet, too.

Cruise missles are way too expensive for me. We should just drop 8000 bombs and save quite a few million dollars.

Sounds like a cool game plan, when do we start? If I was a regular Joe Iraqi citizen...and wa sunloyal to Hussein, I would get out into the countryside or out in the desert if that is at all possible. They probably have no idea what is about to hit them because of Husseins continuous lies.
