Scott says he left home at 9:30 am and went to his office to do a few hours of work. He kept a 14-foot aluminum boat stored at his office and after working decided to hook it up and take a short fishing trip in the San Francisco BayHe seems to have been a very busy boy. Do a few hours of work then go fishing...

Yeah--can you believe that? His timeline was already highly improbable, now they add this "worked for a few hours"? Worked for 3 hours, say, drove for a minimum of 3 hours there and back, that would give him a total of about 2 hours to launch the boat, fish, and bring the boat back to shore and hook it back up? It's getting ridiculous now!

Also, if Scott's story is to be believed, even Laci did not know he was going fishing. He is saying that while he was at work he decided to take a short fishing trip to the San Francisco Bay. Even though(according to Scott) he couldn't get in touch with Laci by cell phone, he went on his short trip anyway.
