Scott says he left home at 9:30 am and went to his office to do a few hours of work. He kept a 14-foot aluminum boat stored at his office and after working decided to hook it up and take a short fishing trip in the San Francisco BayBusy yes. Also, if Scott's story is to be believed, even Laci did not know he was going fishing. He is saying that while he was at work he decided to take a short fishing trip to the San Francisco Bay. Even though(according to Scott) he couldn't get in touch with Laci by cell phone, he went on his short trip anyway.

And he took that short fishing trip without mentioning it to Laci right before he and Laci were expecting Christmas Eve dinner guests! Yeah, right!

What a VERY good point!
His story is mutating faster than, oh, I don't know, a retrovirus or something!

Busy yes. Also, if Scott's story is to be believed, even Laci did not know he was going fishing Read on another forum that the traffic that day on the highway to Berkley Marina was horrible (being a holiday) and that the normal 1 1/2 hour trip was taking more like 3 1/2 hours. So, factor that in to his timeline.
