I dont know if anyone else will recall this place;

The Silver Bucket, Daytona Beach.
For $4.95 - you get a pitcher and a bucket of steamed or raw oysters or clams, shucked right in front of you.

What a place. Those were the days.

There was a college town near where I grew up. A great tavern, called Beeners, where a shot and a beer was $.40. Best place ever. That was back in the mid 70's.

When I was in flight training in Pensacola, we used to go to the Oyster Bar on Sunday afternoons. Dozen oysters on the half shell and a Bud -- 2 bux!

And, the AFL was VERY entertaining in those days, with scores like 56-54 and such.

Spent many a very pleasant Sunday afternoon there.

Thanks for the memories.
