These brainless "Shields" will need plenty of blow-back protection.

Saddam won't hesitate to unload his arsenal of bio-weapons onto his own population--including smallpox.

Two stowaways fall to their deaths

SHANGHAI: Two men described as Europeans fell to their deaths from an Air France plane just before it landed in Shanghai yesterday, police, state media and sources said. An initial investigation showed the two crawled from the plane's luggage compartment and fell from the undercarriage on flight AF112 from Paris to Shanghai, the official Xinhua news agency said. The unidentified pair hit a house in Laoxiang town in Shanghai's Nanhui district, not far from the Pudong International Airport where the plane was due to land, the report said. A police official at the airport's police command centre, however, said they landed in farmland, adding that the area around the airport was surrounded by agricultural fields. “We don't know anything at the moment. The investigators are still out at the scene, but we are not suspecting terrorism,” said the police officer who declined to be identified. He said there was no evidence the pair tried to carry out terrorist attacks. Shanghai police started an investigation soon after the plane landed at the airport at 11.05am, Police have still not identified the two foreigners. A source in Shanghai close to the investigations said the two men were Europeans. – AFP Another perspective from The China Daily, a partner of Asia News Network.

Freepers should contract the QE2 to set sail from Oakland with stops in San Pedro, New York and Boston to take America's most obnoxious celeb leftists to Basra and thence to fan out to CENTCOM's air tasking sites. Thinking of an Ed Asner looking up at the sky as a 2,000 pound JDAM spirals down gives me a warm, tingly feeling.

I heard OKeefe on the radio the other day. The interviewer asked him why he changed his views. He cited how the writings of Noam Chomsky completely swayed him! The idiot interviewer had never heard of Chomsky (I think it might have been John and Ken on KFI in LA), so could not come back with any intelligent information (like Chomsky's expertise is in linguistics, not foreign policy, and his anti-American invective is totally based on emotion, with his references being to his own previous writings, so very ill documented and full of hot air). Noam Chomsky, indeed. A dangerous man who needs to be factually refuted at every opportunity.

Is this the O'Keefe person the same guy who was on Fox and Friends the other morning? I know this person was in London too. He actually renounced his citizenship on the air. The man was full of anger and hatred. E.D. Hill was thoroughly amazed over his wrath and hatred of the United States.

He wants it both ways, doesn't he? US guilty of killing its own citizens, but ooops, he's not a citizen anymore.

Officially, it is now known that Tony Blair has been notified that UK and US citizens are going to be in harm's way and will be killed by our own governments if they go ahead with this war, as they appear determined to do,” said O'Keefe, who renounced his US citizenship in protest of US foreign policy

If he renounced his citizenship, he's obviously not a US citizen. So unless he has obtained British citizenship, he has neutered his own plan. He's a man without a country who got caught in the line of fire.

Speaking of evo devotees, I wonder how many of them overall support the war in Iraq. After all, isn't part of evolutionary theory the survival of the fittest? If we blow Iraq off the map, isn't that just part of the whole 'natural selection' thing?

Noam Chomsky, indeed. A dangerous man who needs to be factually refuted at every opportunity.

David Horowitz: Noam Chomsky’s Jihad Against America

The preceeding article, by David Horowitz, decisively refutes a vile and audacious (if typical) lie by Chomsky: that the American campaign against the Taliban in Afghanistan included a planned and purposeful attempt to starve millions of Afghanis.

In fact the United States military coordinated extensively and carefully with aid agencies and NGOs. The military campaign led to an order of magnitude increase in the volume of food aid getting into the country, and greatly improved access to populations needing relief.

Also, check this out, regarding Chomsky's intimate connections with extreme leftwing antisemites in France (also tied to the Institute for Historical Review and holocaust deniers elsewhere):

Chomsky and the Jews (intro to Partners in Hate: Noam Chomsky and the Holocaust Deniers)

The full article is long, but well worth reading. If includes the only reasonably fulsome account I've seen of Chomsky's early history and the origin of his views. You'll need to use the updated link from message #14.
