Good for you! (P.S. Buy California wines. They're better anyway.)

Since the Spaniards have been so nice to us as of late, let me suggest a fine Rioja to go with yor next meal.

The sad thing is, I was a major customer of German Riesling until recently. Thankfully, both Upstate New York and Texas have been producing some fine ones as of late.

I like a little Tinto every now and then. Tempranillo is a big up-and-comer in CA. It will be sad to put aside Riesling. As friend of mine calls it, "The King of Grapes".

And drat those Germans for having the only other national driving culture. You should be able to buy cars built by people who love to drive. Drat. Drat.
