I've got news for you -- Any pro-lifer from New Jersey who witnessed Rick Santorum campaigning for former governor Christie Whitman (the most rabidly pro-abortion Republican in the country) a few years ago is no fan of Santorum, either.

Yes, "let them lose, I prefer a Democrat to a RINO". How absurd. Rick Santorum's record on abortion is unassailable. Like Guiliani, regardless of policy differences, he campaigns diligently for the ticket.

What applies in politics does not necessarily work when it comes to morality.

A person can't stand up and identify a moral outrage one day, then go around the next day acting as if it isn't such a big deal.

This is where the pro-life movement falls apart. If abortion is the diabolical crime against humanity that we say it is, then we are obliged to ostracize ANYONE who supports it no matter which party they are from.

In Biblical terms, it's called "shaking the dust from one's sandals."
