It would be a lot cheaper for Scott if he was a widower rather than a divorced Dad in California, which has insanely high child support awards, plus he'd be stuck in Modesto since part of child support is predicated on how much time one spends with the kid -- he moves somewhere where it's harder to see the boy, he pays more in child support because he's spending less time with him. If she threatened him with divorce, I certainly would consider that he would have motive for murder. The dirty skunkin' rat -- if he's got one mistress, he's probably got a bunch of 'em. What puzzles me is that Laci had to know, for awhile yet. She'd have been better off divorcing him before getting pregant. Sad gal, she deluded herself.
