If you're up at "Nightline" time tonight, tune in. Ted Koppel will be doing a "Nightline Special" from my hometown tonight. As of last night, rumor is they are having a hard time giving tickets away.

At first they mailed invitations; had no takers. They then announced where to go to get a ticket. Now they are "first come, first serve" but yesterday they were trying to give tickets away.

I won't be there!

It will be in Jasper and , of course, will be addressing racism.

Last night there was a documentary interviewing people during the Byrd trials. Everybody they showed lived in a trailer, was obese, was a red-neck, or a white male who had been to prison and came back a white supremicist with body tatoos.

The only person I know who was interviewed is the radio announcer. He lives in a house, is not overweight, and has not been to prison. He is a former Jasper Co. Republican Chair.

Hi lonestar...sorry I didn't see you earlier...I heard about the media infiltrating Jasper. Also, that they kept tryin to find "trouble" and racial unrest when it wasn't there....think I'll pass on tonight although I used to be hooked on nightline a lifetime ago!
