CBS) An American fugitive convicted in the arson death of billionaire banker Edmond Safra was captured in southern France after an overnight escape from a Monaco prison, Montegasque authorities said Wednesday.
Ted Maher, a former Green Beret originally of Auburn, Maine, was captured in the resort town of Nice after a daring escape from prison in the principality of Monaco, where he had began serving a 10-year sentence for arson late last year.

Is France better or worse than Monaco?
Knowing them they will want to trade him in for Moussaoui.

I just asked because I hear France is dirtier than Morocco and they even treat their soldiers like crap.
Maybe now we can start a "Free the Hostage" campaign since France is allied with the Axis of Evil and is clearly holding him hostage.
I hope someone lets Ted know that the French do not lock their third floor windows and he needs to climb down before they throw him out like they did with that other guy.
