HA! - couldnt you say that since sex and religion are so closely intertwined that in order to not offend my regilious practices, sex, and discussion of, should be banned from the classrom. Wouldn't want someone to violate my right to separation of church & state would we. Many religions are very modest when it comes to the topic of sex, and it is something only discussed in the privacy of your own home. Until my child becomes an adult, topics such as this should be kinda taboo huh?

Sex and religion are not closely intertwined. Religion is a societal construct (moral law), sex is biological (natural procreation). Or, religion is biological (endowed by the Creator) and sex is a societal construct (alternate lifestyles). In either case, both are independent motivators that co-exist together, often crossing paths but for different purposes.
Talk of banning is strong talk. There must be extreme dangers present to resort to banning. I hope that it doesn't require extreme measures to get school adminstrators to consider larger interests besides their own narrow viewpoints.
