Ritter speaks out against Bush administration

A Delmar resident and former U.N. weapons inspector is speaking out against the Bush administration.

Scott Ritter was in San Diego Tuesday, discussing his new book "Endgame: Solving the Iraq Crisis" despite reports that Ritter was arrested by Colonie police two years ago for allegedly logging onto a sex chat room being run as a police sting.

Ritter called on President Bush to look for a peaceful resolution with Iraq.

He said almost all of Iraq's weapons were accounted for and destroyed four years ago.

Ritter served as Chief Inspector in Iraq for most of the nineties following the Persian Gulf war.

Ritter is now on his way to Iraq.

(updated: January 20th, 5:50pm) The spotlight is back on former UN Weapons Inspector and Delmar native, Scott Ritter. But it's not over Iraq instead its over charges he talked with an underage girl on the Internet.
The Daily Gazette broke the story over the weekend. The paper says Ritter was arrested in June of 2001 after having a sexual conversation on the Internet with someone he "thought" was an underage girl. The girl turned out to be an undercover investigator.

Sources tell NEWS10 that Ritter contacted what he thought was a teenage girl on the internet for the purpose of a sexual interlude not once, but twice within a three month period back in 2001. Ritter also underwent court-ordered sex offender counseling from an Albany psychologist.

Sounds like Scott aka William Ritter, was actively trolling for young girls at this time.I assume the authorities are also interviewing the family babysitters.Getting caught by the police the first time, was obviously not enough of a scare for Scott aka William.I wonder if the Albany counseling was enough to cure Scott aka William of his predilection for young girls.Was this period the beginnning or the end of his dysfunction?
