Just seems to me that having a vehicle with *bullet-proof-glass* is fundamental for any Americans who are planning to work in that hostile section of the universe. Sort of like the first 'stop off' by the 'Good Guys' in the epic film
Star Wars ... everybody is armed and dangerous and really, really wants to kill you.
I did a search and could not find this article posted. Heard it on the news this morning.

Kuwait, critical to any U.S. war against neighboring Iraq, generally welcomes Americans out of lingering gratitude for the U.S.-led coalition that expelled Iraqi invaders in the 1991 Gulf War
Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't Kuwait already sign on with us? If so, I can't stand the obvious bias in this article!

I don't think Kuwaiti forces will invade, but we can use Kuwait as a staging area.

The American who died had a French name "Michael Rene Pouliot". Was he a naturalized citizen originally from France?

"The president's heart goes out to the families affected by this attack," White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said. "It's a reminder of the dangers and risks servicemen and women face every day in service to our country." Yes, hearts and prayers go out to those who lost these loved one.
A reminder also goes out to the President about the dangers and risks Americans face every day from "The Religion of Peace!"
