Pardon the grammatical problems, but this was a translation of the article appearing in "Der Spiegel".

The company "Al-Haddad Trading Company" was on the list of the 56 international suppliers of equipment and raw materials necessary to manufacture sarin, VX, mustard gas and other chemical agents.

Looks like some Germans via an Iraqi-born, naturalized American citizen Sahib Abd al(uminium)-Amir al(uminium)-Haddad sold a lot of military equipment to Saddam.

Saddam Hussein is for him a large leader told he an American newspaper already many years ago: "Kuweit is an Iraqi country."

And this American citizen, who swore an oath to his adopted country, was working for Saddam and Iraq all along.

If this is a followup to the story I THINK it is - hard to tell with the translation - isn't this the German company that INSISTED it was only selling "medical" supplies to Iraq (some of which had dual military applications and are banned)? It CAN'T be the German company that was only selling "vehicles" to Irag (just SUVs for Saddam's family, folks, nothing to see here, move along) can it?
