Distinguished MWM, 41 6'0" 220lb male seeks young girls for chat and possibly more. Should be fond of fast food, pro-Iraq and under 16. Gemini preferred.

Surely we agree that as far as credibility is concerned, no one in their right mind would now take Ritter's statements on Iraq seriously, considering these are life-and-death issues.
One would have to be a complete imbecile to do so. Don't you agree?

Say why don't you put Cybersex and entrapment into a Google search and see what you come up with.
Here are some court cases and if you have trouble with the legal technicalities skip to the next to last paragraph...be advised good detectives know the rules of the game and can play it well they are pros....of course there sometimes are bad apples but I doubt it in this case.

Just the opposite! Oliver Stone has already bought the movie rights. Martin Sheen has been signed to play Ritter with the story line being that the Bush Administration used the CIA and FBI to set him up on false sexual perversion charges. Michael Moore plays the defense attorney who exposes GWB as the "force of evil". Michael Moore will play Scott Ritter, since they are practically twins.

Yup. And the fact that a adult female cop was waiting for Ritter instead of a sexy minor is immaterial. Ritter initiated the come-on and set up the rendevouz with the idea that a teen Lolita would be on the other end. No one forced him to troll the net, post his fantasies and then try to act on them by driving his car to the pick-up place. Ritter was warned once by the cops not to pursue this sick stuff, but he couldn't control his urges. He deserves what he gets--the scorn and distaste from people who abhor this sort of behavior.
And I would still condemn Ritter about his sick obsession with underaged girls even if he were pro-Bush and not defending Saddamn Hussein by visiting Baghdad or accepting money from that twisted regime to produce a "There are no WMD here" video, as well as his co-authorship with the libelous liberal William Pitt!!!

... No one forced him to troll the net, post his fantasies and then try to act on them by driving his car to the pick-up place. ... Yep, and it isn't as if Ritter pursued a young woman only to find out later that she was underage. Ritter went after at least two girls knowing their age (14 and 16).
Anyone want to bet that Ritter has never tried (more than the twice documented times) to nail a few underage girls and had acted on that impulse to completion?

"If this only involved the word of a young girl and not an undercover policewoman
I may believe a young girl over a 'phone sex' expert. Where is she?"
I take umbrage with your description of an LE officer,as a phone sex expert. More than likely, they were part of the vice squad or a special pedophile squad. They deal with the dregs of society on a daily basis, so the rest of us don't have to. No matter how you try and spin for Scott-there are 2 incontrovertible facts:
#1. Scott Ritter was arrested
#2. The file is sealed
My point again is this-if Scott Ritter is innocent-he should have been on every talk show, this am, screaming from the mountain tops, that he was framed. For once,Scott Ritter is silent.

no one in their right mind would now take Ritter's statements on Iraq seriouslyWrong, I would, but in the end I may not give them much credence based on all other information coming out. Who do you take seriously, Hans Blix, Tony Blair, the Democratic Senators that lied through their teeth during the 'impeachment trial' and aiding the bombing of Serbia and the Islamists takeover in the Balkans?
Reality is, not withstanding the sweet talking seductress that got him out of the house twice, Scotty was militarily trained and hired by the UN. He's been there, done that and its' fools that wouldn't take his word at face value, and decide accordingly.

#3.
Case closed, justice has been servedMove on. He was dealt with by the system, hopefully with the same justice that any of us might expect.

He had his day in court, and that's all that's required, unless you're a priest. Even if innocent, he wouldn't stand a chance against 'kangaroos' asking for his head. Do you reccommend he have 'makeup' and a pro bono 'trial' lawyer at his side. Thankfully we no longer make judgements based on 'trials by ordeal'.
Not too long ago I remember the Democrats pulling a 'similar' stunt on Ollie North, who they claimed was a lying, unpatiotic marine. And that stupid Rino Senator Warner assisted in giving a part of the Senate to the baby chopping Democrats.

I don't think Scotty knows and I'm not aware that he said there are none. Whether there are is secondary to the Saudis being the prime problem. W apparently believes Iraq is one tenacle of that Saudi 'octopus' and needs to be chopped off as was Afganistan, and I can support that.
IMO, Scotty's thinking runs along the line of Buchanan/Scrocroft and they have a legitimate argument. Jumping on Scotty begs the question, and applying 'triple' punishment based on indoendo is not what America is about.
