Ummm...Dude. That inelegible player was able to play because of his LOCAL LEVEL coach and his parents! I guess you think it's OK to cheat on the local level but not the national or world level?
All your stance would do is punish those who play by the rules. No offense but that's a pretty "Liberal" stance.
And besides, "Plagued" is a misnomer. The Little League World Series has been played cleanly for years. It was bound to have some jerk try to ruin things sooner or later. That happens with everything.
The national/global attention provides the incentive for local collusive cheating. Take away that incentive and the locals become more self-regulating.
