Yeah, we are so jealous of Arlen Spector. If only we could live up to PA's shining example.LOL, yeah he's real shaky but I'll definitely take him over your scumbag Marxists, Corzine and Lautenberg. Besides, Santorum more than balances out Spector. And anybody here in PA (who is not a criminal) can easily and quickly get a concealed carry permit. Sure, we get some trouble here from our parasite nests (cities), but New Jersey seems to have extended its goofy liberalism way beyond the borders of its parasite nests. Like, the whole state.
By the way, I grew up in NJ to a large measure as my family owned a house in Surf City for decades and I spent most of my summers there. I agree with the poster who said that scumbag North Jersey with all its New York refugees is what drags the rest of the state down.

NJ is at it again, we Republicans are our own worst enemy and will never learn and like sweet little minions we aren't supposed to criticize our brother republicans, bull s**t.
After what they did to Schundler:
1. The ploy the pulled during the primary by putting in Franks and extending the primary. And they had the nerve to complain about the Lautenberg issue after they did the same thing last year.
2. Not supporting Schundler while he was a candidate after he was chosen by the republican voters who put him and to be our candidate.
Now it's 2003 and want our votes!! Dream on pubbies.
They had a Republican Legislative Majority for 10 yrs. 8 of which with republican governors, 1st 2 with a VETO-proof majority over Democrat Jim Florio, and what did they do, INCREASE SPENDING AND PROGRAMS EVERY YEAR (sounds like Bush). Stole from Unemployment Trust funds and the Teachers' TPAF to fund an income-tax cut which had to be paid back, by order of the Fed. Govt., which was done by approving a $2.7 billion bond issue without the permission of the voters, no referendum. Auto insurance premiums increased, they put too many mandates to the health insurance insurers which doubled premiums, approved 2 $500,000 no-bid contracts for EZ Pass (toll roads) and Parsons (vehicle inspections) w/o following proper procurement procedures and kept the marriage penalty tax and estate tax. They took over Newark's Scool System and lost $54 Million and to this day still can't account for it. One of the last things the Republicans did was to approve an $8.1 Billion, inner-city school funding proposal, again without the approval of the voters thus violating the law.

We've been paying a temproary income tax since 1975, don't forget Brendan Byrne's words, TEMPORARY, almost 30 yrs.
http://www.utnj.org later. Let's tell our so-called republican leaders that we want to keep our money and not give it to them to spend on programs and Newark's municipal and School budgets.
And now they are thinking about punishing the rich by raising income taxes, unbelievable. They sound like Communits to me.

I agree with the poster who said that scumbag North Jersey with all its New York refugees is what drags the rest of the state down. You're just plain wrong.
