Texans along the border are faced with a continuing and ever growing problem. -- Along the border, there seems to be an understanding among those in power. That is, that if you are from Mexico, we'll let you get away with it.

I know of one small oil company out here, that hints it's employees travel armed to the southern leases.

Reports of trouble at some of the more remote locations.

Isn't it legal in Texas to defend personal property against theft or destruction with lethal force?

Seems to me that a little self-policing may be in order for those folks.

I think I'd be inclined to scour the dog pounds for dobermans ("dobermen"?) that I'd turn loose at night, dogs that I fed just a little less than they need to stay alive...
