File this under "know thy enemy."
Commie puke Tony Murphy, spokesman for the communist front group IAC-ANSWER will be taking questions online with the Washington Post this Friday, the 17th at 3 p.m.
Questions can be submitted here."
Please note that The Post does not identify Murphy as a communist who is working with the global communist movement to undermine and eventually topple the U.S. government.

More evidence that the "anti-war" movement is being led by America's enemies.

I'll be at the airport on Friday at 3 pm, getting ready to fly to DC for the Patriots Rally III.

You know, somehow I don't remember Communism being very good to the Black African workers in Angola and Zimbabwe.
If he really cared about workers instead of his own self-promotion and advancement, he'd fight Communism instead of supporting it...

Here's the question I submitted to The Post for Mr. Murphy to, er, answer.:
Comrade Murphy, unmentioned in The Post's description of you is that you are a communist--an ideology every bit as evil as Nazism. You and ANSWER's other frontman, Brian Becker, support communist regimes like North Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, China and communist revolutions worldwide.
These regimes and movements torture, starve and murder their political opposition. Their victims number in the tens of millions of human beings murdered, while more than a billion souls currently live under its tyranny.
How can you say with a straight face that you are against war when you are part of a movement that wages horrific war on all of humanity?

As one of the "45 millions" of uninsured, all I can say to ANSWER is "bite me." You fools, it was your socialist bud Teddy Kennedy who set it up with his inane HMO's.
Your socialist buddies in CA limited construction, driving up the cost of housing. Now you lament the price of SF real estate? Why don't you fret so over Montana apartments? Could it be that you can't outrun a .45?
Your Muslim friends that have "shocked and surprised" Americans have done no such thing. They're only positive accomplishment since 9/11 is to confuse Americans on the pronunciation of "Been Lade-en" (or Been-Lahden) and "Malvo" (or "Mal-veau" for you francophiles).
And your beloved Arafat is about to learn the meaning of the word "marginal," which you so dearly represent.

Someone go to the Goodwill store and buy an LP stereo and then play some of them scratchy old protest albums:
"We shall overcome, we shall/we shall/we shall/we shall/we shall....."

Watched local Fox this morning. Bill Passat identified ANSWER as the organizer of the rally but did not identify that the are a front for WWP. With the TV reporting heating up, can we send a reminder to the media as to who these people are to include URLs as well as forwarding RogerD's most excellent research?
Why didn't I think of this last Sunday?

I've seen Kristinn mention it whenever he can. He's very much "on message" about that. But simply forwarding URLs -- it's not that easy. You have to get through to them and get them to read it. You'd have to have a press release they'd bother to read -- shoot, we can't get them to focus on our main rally protest. I like Kristinn's idea of asking questions of the Tony guy at 3 p.m. online.
To: kristinn
Take housing costs for example. Housing is by far the greatest expense for the population. What was once considered a common ratio of housing costs to wages, about 20 to 25 years ago, was approximately one week's wages per month to pay for a small apartment for a worker. Today, in growing numbers of cities and states, many workers struggle to pay their housing with at least two weeks wages per month. In San Francisco Bay Area, or Boston, or New York, that cost can often rise to three weeks per month.
Of course since home ownership has been rising steadily, more of this housing cost goes to equity, increasing the permanent wealth of Americans. Putting more wealth in the hands of individuals, giving them more personal security and more effective means to determine the course of their lives, is of course anathema to communists like Tony.

Excellent question, kristinn!
Can we come up with a list of violent insurgencies and civil wars that ANSWER supports? This could be the basis of another good question. (Or course they support and glorify the Oslo War a.k.a. "intifida." How about Abu Sayef? FARC in Columbia? FLN in Alegeria? etc.)
Thanks for the ping, HIAHC.

If you read Christopher Hitchens' piece on this, he complains mightily that the mainstream media just doesn't want to address the topic of who's leading their rally. We are trying, but I really don't think another email to the Post is going to matter to them: such places are determined not to cover this issue. It's up to us to cover it. I'm not being defeatist, I'm just saying this is an area where we are meeting mainstream media resistance.
To: kristinn
Well, I can agree with him on one thing:
"Before 1980, the word HOMELESS did not exist."
That is correct, as the media coined the term to use against Republican administrations. During Clinton's infestation of the White House, the homeless disappeared from the streets apparently; we never heard a word about them and their plight from the NYT, Washington Puke, et al.
One must conclude that the Clintons were putting all of them up in swank digs for 8 years, and now, with mean old Bush in the WH, the bums...er, homeless are back on the streets.
