Sometimes poor Al Gore regresses back to his Gorrem persona..... One of many personalities he frequently assumes.

PING!
Radix is rather new to the ping concept.
If you find yourself wondering why you were pinged here then just try to remember one thing. One thing. One!
Pancakes on Wednesdays!

It is funny.
I read all of the books so long ago.
They were ok, but I never quite "got it."
I never understood the fuss.
I will say though, the Gollum character was very very (good?) it was exactly like the book.
I never believed that they could do that.
They did it.
Kudos to they!

Good article. But I think the Gorrem is wrong. As your picture clearly shows, the Gullum is not a CGI but is really...James Carville. With a little fake hair...only other thing they had to do for the part was fit him out with some old pants.

It would be great if Registered could put an Algore head on that critter to make him the Gorrem.

When I saw this Gorrem the other night I wondered how Carville got in the movie. Same looks, voice, and actions.
Scary.

Ok, now that I really read the entire post I have a comment.
You are so completely right about Edwards.
There is no way that Kerry will run (in my opinion) he does not have the balls despite his decorations.
Isn't it exciting to be able to see this stuff?
I think so!
Terrific post.
Please feel free to ping me with the good stuff.
I am still new to all of this.
If I get overwhelmed with Pings I will ask to be released.
Meanwhile, keep up the good work.
Thank You!

Okay, so maybe Registered should add Carville's head on the Gollum also.

There is no way that Kerry will run (in my opinion) he does not have the balls despite his decorations. Even tough Mrs. Heinz keeps the cojones of her least favorite husband stored away in a lockbox, she does let him take them out long enough on occasion for him to run.... But he definitely won't win, ESPECIALLY since he hasn't make the Faustian bargain with the Clintonistas that Edwards has.

"The most important cultural event of the past decade is the ongoing release of the film version of J R R Tolkien's The Lord of the Rings. No better guide exists to the mood and morals of the United States. The rapturous response among popular audiences to the first two installments of the trilogy should alert us that something important is at work. Richard Wagner's 19th-century tetralogy of music dramas, The Ring of the Nibelungs, gave resonance to National Socialism during the inter-war years of the last century. Tolkien . . .
does the same ((link )) - - - for Anglo-Saxon democracy."

Not this time...Poor ol Smeagol ALREADY favors Carville somewhat...but only when he talks to hisself about his precious...
To: Brian Mosely
Add some hair to Carville's head, dress him in a diaper, and clean him up a bit and you have a dead ringer for the Gollum.

Another outstanding review by the Goron, PJ!
He does remind me of Gollum with his fixation on the Precious, not to mention, the split personalities! LOL!
The difference is, I actually feel sorry for Gollum.

The difference is, I actually feel sorry for Gollum. Will you be attending the Gollum's post-Oscar celebration party?

I certainly hope you're right about that. Andy Serkis deserves a Best Supporting Actor award for his performance, hands down!
I've got to rush out of here, but I'll see you around the forum!
Keep up the good work, my Precioussssss!
