I got through to Rush's call screener and he OKed me to go on the air with Rush to discuss the organizational resolution that the last Senate operated under. After about 10 minutes on hold the screener came back and said "Rush has gone over your points, thanks" and hung up on me.

Rush's plan to Neuter Puff Daschel by having the House make Puff's wife a useless lobbyer is GREAT! I didn't like the tease Rush was doing on it, but hearing the plan was worth the wait.

Putting ms. clinton on the Armed Services Committee of the Senate is an affront to our military. If I were Rumsfeld, I would never give the Full Committee a classified briefing unless he plans on giving it to our enemies as well because that is exactly who will end up with it if ms. clinton is there!

This seems to be buried by the obstuction that is going on by the RATs. Guess they took advantage to name her to that Committee knowing it was going to not be headline news with their obstruction of new Committee Chairman going on right now!

Here is what the deal was on the organizational resolution that the 107th Senate operated under. The Senate was split 50/50 with the GOP controling the senate because of the VP's tie breaking vote. Understandably the RATS wanted the committees and funds split 50/50. Fine.

Now lets dig a little further into the resolution. At the time, the RATS had a "Death Watch" on Strom Thurmond, and to a lesser degree Jesse Helms. The death of either of these men, whose states had RAT governors would have put the RATS in the majority. The GOP, being realistic about it and knowing that a 98 year old man (at that time) could die at any moment arrainged the resolution so as to continue the original structure of the Senate organization should it become 51-49 absent the results of an election.

The organization was not structured to be "Fair" to the minority, or because of the slim majority. It was organized in that fashion because of the realistic chance that the senate majority would change not because of an election, but because of the death of a member. Period.

Whats worse is that I got past the call screener on Rush to state just that and the call screener came back later, after being on hold for a short while and said Rush had made my point, when he hadnt! Getting this info across to 20 million Limbaugh listeners would have done the public a great service on this matter. But Mr. Snerdly changed his mind and didnt put me on the air.
