In commuting the death sentences of all of his state's 167 death-row inmates Saturday, Illinois Gov. George Ryan committed an extraordinary and monumental injustice, betraying most of the principles he claimed to be vindicating.

I don't care whether it is a republican, democrat or independant govenor, protestors with the victim's picture should show up and prove to that govenor that he/she or it deosn't care for America.

The next step for these liberal govenors is to do a "Dukakis".. i.e. furlow the murderer so he can terminate more victims.

Of all these Pardonistas the Democrats are worst, hence my use of the term "to Dukakis".

I don't know. Ari Fleischer yesterday said President Bush doesn't want to stick his nose into a State's business. I think that's a pretty good tack. This is that State's business. I don't like it, but then again, it's not my State.

The nicest thing anyone could say about the un-indicted crook Ryan is that he kept his pants zipped while in his office. From all indications he will soon be indicted for all of his crooked schemes while and before he was governor.

The clinton pardons were bought and paid for, in the true spirit of capitalism. There is no money trail to Ryan, but, I am sure that he prospered from this, over and above the good will he has gotten from his future roomates.
