She's really sorry...that she didn't get more agreement with her first--and heartfelt--comments.

Would guess that her family wasn't hiding any Jews in the attic.

The wife of European Central Bank president Wim Duisenberg acknowledged in a short statement made last Friday night that her remarks, reported in newspaper Algemeen Dagblad, had been hurtfulAnd completely unsupported by history, but libs, rather than regretting historical distortions, stay up late at night figuring out how to rewrite the past...

The Dutch Federation of Jews said on Friday that it was making a criminal complaint against Duisenberg because of her remarks. Interesting. Idiotic comment leads to even more idiotic action.

I reckon they will just have to drive this Duisenberg outa town.

Not only that, but what law did she break? I've heard that the EU has some funky laws, but a law against making insensitive remarks (and that's all they were)? I'm a big fan of Israel specifically and Jews generally, but this is no "hate crime".
I hope Don Rickles isn't performing in Brussels anytime soon....
