Mine is a real 'carry gun'--blued Colt export slide and an Auto Ordinance satin nickle lower--low profile sights and rounded edges for no snagging. Stippled and piece fit by Bill Saxon here. I'll trust my life to that gun. Got it sitting right here next to my mug of homebrewed Scottish ale. FN-FAL (L1A1 actually) is in the corner and chows asleep at my feet...

Hope yer night is warm and safe friend.....that pup and a fine 1911A1 should make life easy. Is that FN a metric or inch model ? I have been itching to add one to my arsenal of democracy for some time now. Any suggestions as to where to start looking ?? and what type SAE er metric per se ?:o)
