Rodman arrested again |
Jan. 10, 2003. 09:11 PM |
NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (AP) Former NBA star Dennis Rodman was arrested Friday after a woman accused him of assaulting her. He posted $25,000 US bail and was released from jail, Newport Beach police Sgt. Steve Shulman said. Rodman, who has a history of run-ins with the law, was accused of domestic violence and battery. Police said the case would be presented to the district attorney's office, which will decide whether to press charges. The 41-year-old Rodman was taken into custody at his Newport Beach home, Shulman said. The unidentified woman called police from a pay phone near Pacific Coast Highway. The woman had some swelling to her upper lip, Shulman said. Since Rodman retired from the NBA, Newport Beach police have gone to his home more than 70 times because of loud parties. He also was convicted of drunken driving. A year ago, he was arrested and accused of obstructing officers investigating a code violation at his seaside restaurant. Prosecutors did not press charges. |

It's either him or Tyson always in trouble with the law, they are both nuts!

Rodman should be arrested for violating the laws of nature. He's almost as big a freak as Michael Jackson.

Rodman, (for a minute there I was thinking of Hillary Rodham) joins a long line of famous athletes who get away with whatever they want to . One of my favorites was John Riggins, famous Washington Redskins running back, lying on the floor under a table, at a very public dinner, telling Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O'Conner, to ,"Loosen up Baby." One would assume that the diesel himself had already reached that state of looseness.
Then there were the many accusations by women that the great Jim Brown, maybe the best all time running back ever in the NFL, had a habit of throwing them off hotel and condo balconies. The major problem there was the wasted Police Department time spent picking those ladies up from the concrete, smacking them up-side the head, and sending them on their way. How-in-hell could someone that good with a football ever think of doing those awful things?
And then, and then, (just like Jones) along came OJ, that pretty boy broadcaster and NFL icon, accused of drawing real blood from his wife and an acquaintance. So persistant were those charges that it took the most part of the nineties, or so it seemed, to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that there was nothing to the charges.
That is sort of a long way of saying, Dennis, you ain't shi-!

"That is sort of a long way of saying, Dennis, you ain't shi-!"It's amazing how twisted American society has become in so short a time. We let killers off the hook and go after producers with a vengence.

We can't argue with that.

"We can't argue with that."We? are you with someone or do you suffer from multiple personalitys?

ha ha Rodman needs to chill out and stop partying. He can't handle the alcohol. I heard him call in on howard stern when carmen was in the studio and it was pretty bad.

I guess that's what happens when you pay someone so much for doing something so useless as putting a basket ball in a hoop. They actually start to believe they're beyond the law.

Dennis's money will be running out soon, if it hasn't already.
