Maybe Donahue is realizing where the POWER is now....and trying to revive his flailing show......

Late last night I watched his show from yesterday, the one about abstinence.

They pretty much cleaned his clock. He almost spun himself into the floor when the young girls told him that virginity was "making a comeback."

The night before that, he had a show on abortion. I cannot quite figure out what he's up to, but he's trying something to get more viewers for sure.

No, he just figured out that most liberal women are hideous old nags and that there are a lot of babes among the conservative women out there.

He's trying to get it like his old show. One guest, one topic, live audience. Did you see when he had Andy Rooney? His eyes are completely covered by his eyebrows! One hair was practically in the studio audience.

I saw parts of Donahue last night as well. At first, I was in total shock that Phil had anyone else but Micheal Moore or Ralph Neas on, but when I heard they were conservatives I was speechless. As the young lady said, it is about self-respect.

Once again a desperate liberal reaches out to conservatives for help when he realizes his way just doesn't work.

Since marrying Mr. Marlo, I thought he became a "
Retro-virgin."

I've become quite fascinated with it. In the beginning, it was obvious that he was out of his element; the days of his old show have passed and he didn't know how to handle his guests.

And he has all these "old liberals" on........and he slobbers all over them. It's like watching an automobile accident, you just cannot stop looking because you just cannot believe all the fawning.

Last night, you could just see that the idea of not having sex before marriage just blew his mind. And the idea that it's the KIDS who have started this went right over his head; saving yourself for the person you love is NOT in his moral base, I can tell you that. He acted like they were the weirdest people on earth.

And believe me, the condescention in his voice came over loud and clear.

Now look.......woman conservatives tonight....after the abortion discussion with Phyllis and that Catholic guy (can't remember his name) and the virginity show last night.

I cannot figure what he's up to, but it's fascinating to watch. He's getting lectures from people who believe what they say and, of course, he's totally shocked because he's not been around any people like that in years....in fact, he's looked down his nose at them as ignorant.

I've particularly enjoyed watching the audience (even though it's packed with liberals) pound those liberal weenies he has on to buoy up his views!

It's odd you say that, because that is the exact impression I have gotten this week. He can't pull in the liberal viewers, so he's having more conservatives on talking about topics that are dear to conservatives' hearts.

They pretty much cleaned his clock.

I wanted to see the show because a couple of folks from Catholic Answers were supposed to guest: Jason Evert and another woman. Do you remember them? How'd they do?
