Dallas police discover skeletal remains
01/10/2003
From Staff Reports
Dallas police officers are investigating skeletal remains found early Friday in a grassy field near Northwest Highway and Skillman Street.
The bones were found as officers were chasing a shooting suspect from a nearby apartment complex, police said.
It was not immediately known how long the remains had been there. Police said their investigation would continue on Friday.

Holy cats! I drove by that intersection earlier this week. Tuesday, I think. (No, it wasn't me that dropped them off, lol!)
My first thoughts were of Chante Mallard. She's the one that did the hit-and-run windshield murder in Fort Worth. But she's still in jail and has been since about February or March last year on $250k bail.

Hmm, grassy knoll, dead bodies...
I got it!!! Its the guy who shot Kennedy! They finally found him!!

NE corner of that intersection perhaps?
SE is like a golf green, the other two are like forests.

My personal theory is that Oliver Stone and Kevin Costner shot Kennedy. That film about Jim Garrett was just a ruse to cover their tracks...

I lived near Skillman and Audelia for 8 years, but haven't been back there since 1996.

It's been a dead neighborhood since you left...
i better leave now...hee hee !
I go by that part of town quite often. I live in far NE Dallas County and go down Hwy 66/Forest Lane to LBJ (I-635) all the time...
We'll see what the police reports reveal on this in time...

Hunters and fishermen run across this every once in a while.
So do people walking their dogs.
We had some kid up here that killed his girlfriend and vanished.
When the leaves fell, they found him hanging from a tree.
Strong neck to swing for 4 months. Go figure.

the apartments that lie north and west for a mile or so from that intersection are the highest concentration of violent crimes in Dallas County, IIRC.
