Scott may have mopped the kitchen floor

Well, well.

And there is the question of, who contributed over $300,000 to the reward fund? Someone, who seems to have thought a lot of Laci, appears to have a good bit of money available. Who?

I've said right from the start that it's Robert Levy. He's a local oncologist, tied to the Sund-Carrington Foundation, and God knows, he feels the family's pain.

MAYBE, the hubby called his in-laws thinking that his wife went there to vist. Or that if she was still out 'gallivanting' when he got home, that her parents would know where she was.

There is nothing strange about that, yes he probably did call the family for that reason. The strange thing that I pointed out was that only after 1 1/2 hrs, he called the police. I would think he would have called the hospital or her DR. to see if she had possibly gone into labor, she WAS 8 mos pregnant.

The family is still in major denial. They are confident the object will not be Laci because "Scott had nothing to do with it." They continue to believe it was a stranger abduction.

On Wed. night on Fox news someone said that they interviewed the girlfriends or a relative, and they said that the husband was such an avid fisherman, that he had the baby's room all decked out in fishing gear.

An answer to a question: I thought she had called her mother in the morning and told her she was going to walk the dog and go get something for dinner that night. Or she told Scott that. And I thought they said her purse and wallet was at the house. Am I correct? Karen

the Modesto Police Chief. He said "If you knew what we knew you would understand why we are searching the Marina."

Does this have something to do with the blue tarp? Tune in tomorrow.......

A couple of days ago I was listening to the radio real early in the morning and they reported they were testing some blood drops. I checked FreeRepublic to see if anyone else had heard this and didn't find it being talked about. I know what I heard though and speculate that the tarp they brought up had some blood on it and it probably tested positive for being Laci's blood.

I have read several articles that said she talked with her mother the evening of the 23rd.

Great info on #280. No laughs, the Enquirer gets some real insider information. Lately they have been pretty accurate.

Now I'm wondering if the police luminoled the Peterson kitchen floor.

I think the last time her mother spoke to her was the evening before on the 23rd. The rest of the information was given by Scott and right now his credibility is zip.

Interesting. Either the tarp, the house, or Scott's car. The lab where they sent the forensic evidence tests blood, semen and saliva.

Plus you don't get the life insurance money if you divorce her.

Devil anse--are you named after my Hatfield ancestor???????

Re: insurance. Finding a body will almost always give away the killer. I wonder if the insurance could have a disappearance clause in it--like if after X amount of time they are not found you can collect or something. Like having a person declared legally dead or something.

someone on another forum....I think crime news 2000..specualated that the reason the cops were so interested in the patio umbrellas is perhaps their heavy round holders were missing....perfect for weighing down a body??????

Verrrrry interesting.

I was thinking they could cover a small body somehow, or be plopped ontop of the boat to hold down the tarp...or something.

The police took them the very day after the disappearance. Odd, no? I wonder if a neighbor saw something.

my brilliant thought now is that perhaps scotty had himself a gps in his car or on his boat....the cops would have a clear view, wouldn't they, of where he went???

maybe that is why the cops know to look in the marina,,,,

in my area, they convicted a child murderer because they had a gps record of him....of him unburying and then reburying a body...the body of his own dtr!!!!

fishermen usually like to be out on the water early in the morning, when the fish are biting."

When fishing SF Bay, Tide is a far greater determining factor than "being on the water early".

The tide table supports a fishing trip to the Berkley flats area during this window of time...an incoming tide. This time of year nobody does mutch of anything with junk, so natural bait is the order of the day. Either Ghost Shrimp, Mud Shrimp, Grass Shrimp, Mud Suckers or cut bait...to catch either surgeon or stripers. Surely the cops can find out who this guy bought his bait from...if he bought bait at all.

But I can assure you, that departing and leaving during these hours is not unusual.

What is unusual is that driving from and to Modesto, including launching and running time, this guy only had about an hour or an hour an half to fish. I find it incredible that he, or any guy for that matter, would spend so much time to fish so little.
