Do tents, for example, have foundations?

Do grass huts have foundations? No matter, because if either tent or fence were to occassionally wash away in a storm, it's easy enough to build another.

No fire insurance, no flood insurance, no mortgage, no burglaries (nothing to steal), no gas explosions, no problem, no foreclosures, no loud neighbors, no mowing lawns, no shoveling snow, no painting fences, no plumbing and no backed up sewers, no real estate tax, no electric bills, no fuel company bills, no zoning laws, no traffic lights, no traffic, no car payments, no auto-insurance claims, no mother-vehicle departments, no traffic tickets, and no place you'd rather be anyway . . . Freedom.

The author of those relgious texts knew what he was talking about when writing of Eden and the tree of knowledge that is technology.

Tents aren't a home, they don't have central heating and you can't even have a fire pit in them. Even in sunny warm Tucson we get a couple of hard freezes a year, you ain't gonna wanna be roughing it in some crappy stone age makeshift crapper during a hard freeze. You're going to want a solid roof, good insulation and a source of heat that will run all night while you sleep nice and comfy.

That's a cute bitch list, right out of 60's stoner commune dipstick land. There's a reason those people had to be stoned out of their minds to think that was a better world, and a reason they changed their mind when the drugs finally wore off. Because it won't work.

There's a big difference between Eden and here, Eden was specifically designed by God to be OK to run around in bucknekkid with no home and just grabbing food where you find it, here is where we got dumped when we proved we didn't deserve that. Here you go running around bucknekkid with no shelter and no stored food you're gonna get chiggers and pnuemonia and starve. Ain't no use in trying to pretend this is Eden, best to live in reality.
