I agree with your statement about shooting a K-9.Just suppose you were pulled over like the Smoaks were and a police dog was sic'ed on you. In the act of defending yourself,you injured or killed the dog.The cops would expect more than an apology and a family investigation into the incident where you were found not guilty of excessive or justified deadly force.
