Charles Barkley

(And that's not Michael Savage he's stepping over)

>>Anyway, Barkley maneuvered an ignorant Michael Savage into saying that Barkley was a dumb jock<<

There was no maneuvering at all. From what I got out of the Talkback Live show, Barkley is a dumb jock.

Barkley's was clueless about the 30% of criminals in our jails not belonging to us. That means we PAY to even jail them. That means they DAMAGED or KILLED in some way another human being in our country to land in jail.

We know illegal children get between $6000 and $50,000 per child for public education in my state CA.

I guess we must pay $45,000 for each prisoner that never belonged here that is an illegal in the jail.

I bet all that adds to over 20 billion a year or so to us in the budget, not to mention the national security breach.

I heard that exchange between Savage and Barkley. You sure are right. Barkley came across as clueless.
I think Savage made a mistake going onto this show. I didn't know daytime TV was this bad.

I guess the Nancy boy republicans have decided that Savage was just too mean to little old Charles.

Barkley is a moron. He would amaze the entire world if he could formulate a single logical answer to anything or actually stay on topic.

A case in point.

BARKLEY: It's funny. No matter what happen in this country, somehow, now, he went back and blamed something on Jimmy Carter.

(CROSSTALK)

SAVAGE: If you knew your history, you'd know what I'm talking about. It's nice for you to sit there and make jokes, but...

The moron, Barkley, obviously isn't smart enough to listen to what Savage said. Carter brokered the deal for reactors for North Korea, but the nitwit somehow thinks that Savage is talking about his presidency. Not only is he unable to actually listen to English, he has a problem comprehending it.

And another example.

BARKLEY: That's my point. You're blaming 30 percent of the people for the problem, when 70 percent of the people, they're friends of ours, they're our family members. Why are you blaming a small 30 percent and not blaming that 70 percent?

SAVAGE: I have no idea what you're talking about. Your logic seems to be so screwed up, you can't even present an argument. I don't know what you are saying.

NEVILLE: Oh, come on, Michael. Oh, come on, Michael.

BARKLEY: You know what Michael is? Michael is one of them guys who is really, really smart, who's a (EXPLETIVE). Like, he wants...

Strange, but I don't see the sensitive republicans making an issue of Barkley calling Savage a name. And the question stands: What exactly was Barkley trying to say, anyway? The conversation dealt with immigration, so rather than actually address immigration and the point that 30% of the prison population is illegal, he shows his brilliance by saying that that since 70% are legal immigration isn't the problem.

Pure genius from a pure dullard.

Unfortunately, Mr. Barkley was clearly above his head in this debate.

And let's not forget that the fair Barkley spat on a child during a game and then said that he was aiming for a fan who was calling him racist names. And let us not forget that he refuses to sign autographs for kids.

Not only is he stupid, he's a pig. Whatever Savage's faults are, I'm sure he doesn't spit on children or refuse to sign books for them.

Heard the tape and read the transcript. There's a lot to be said about it, but that Barkley is "bright" wouldn't be one of them. Savage is too much of a hothead and too in love with his own verbiage, but he's sharp. They should have matched him with someone of equal ability. Might have been more interesting and more informative.

Maybe Savage is too arrogant to be as useful as he could be.

I HATED Savage the first time I heard him. He is short with people and moves his show along at a very quick pace. You have to get used to the way he talks to people then just drops them off the phone line. But he is very bright, very educated and has been around. His arrogance is one of the things that is appealing. I hope he is on TV more because Savage is the type of guy you don't see on TV too often.

I remember when Barkley was here in Houston. "Sir Charles" had no business having a conversation with Savage. He was way overmatched.

I heard the same thing, I couldn't believe my ears. I hope he was being tongue-in-cheek when he said it.

Neville and Larry King are examples of why CNN is the Cretin News Network. Long live Fox News Channel!

Larry King interviewed James Hewitt (Princess Diana's former lover). King is such a nitwit. He didn't even ask him about the legal trouble he could be in with respect to the Treason Act of 1351.

That's why I rarely listen to talk radio...I don't care for loudmouths, and regardless of ideology, that's what most talk personalities are.

I make an exception for Liddy, who's sharp, quick witted, and entertaining, even when I don't agree with what he's saying.

Wrong on all counts.
You should read his book, too. You can read, right John-Boy?
