On the other hand, I think Savage was even worse. The one-on-one "I'm smarter than you" stuff reeks. It's the particular kind of trash-talking which is out of bounds.
Only Rush can get away with it, because he is funny in his delivery. He makes a joke of his own megalomania. Savage would appear to be a real megalomaniac, the serious kind.
I realize that Michael Savage has a big following on FR, but I am not impressed with him. Maybe he is effective enough to serve a truly useful function, but good is the enemy of better.
Aside to Libertina: Barkley's accent is better than most American Blacks. Scoff if you will, but it's true. I stand on what I said in my earlier posts--and in this one, too.
