Trouble in the party of tolerance and inclusion: Democratic consultant Kartik Krishnaiyer says he plans to keep a low profile after an anonymous e-mail to party activists suggested his Indian-American face wasn't the best one to represent the party.

"... Politics is based upon perception and we cannot sell our issues and our candidates using the wrong faces and by sending the wrong message. Can you picture Coca-Cola marketing their product with an Indian face on their ads?" said the Dec. 15 e-mail from a sender called the "Tri City Democrats."

Krishnaiyer, who helped orchestrate Carol Ann Loehndorf's ascent to party chairwoman over Carol Roberts, has always been a behind-the-scenes figure rather than a public one. He plans to keep it that way.

"I've ruled out taking a visible role because of this," said Krishnaiyer, 28, who was born and raised in the United States to parents who were born in India.

E-mails from "tricitydems" have peppered the in-boxes of Democratic activists during the past month, trashing some party figures, praising others and spawning a guessing game about who's behind them. At last week's Democratic Executive Committee meeting, Loehndorf urged Dems to ignore the anonymous messages, which she suggested might be the work of "outside influences."

Not a single elected Palm Beach Democrat has denounced the anonymous racist attack agaisnt one of their own activists. This would be national news if Republicans or Conservatives were doing it!

In the Landrieu runoff and in the MD election,someone nailed flyers on telephone polls in black areas, advising voters not to worry about voting on election day,they could also vote the next day. There was absolutely no evidence linking this to Republicans-but,Hillary remarked that it was obviously the work of Republicans.Not a scintilla of evidence.When the Democrats are caught red handed sending racist emails,they still blame Republicans.Now that's a party in some serious need of psychotherapy!!

The "outside influence" charge is a hard case to make on this one, since this was an internal DEC e-mail leadership list. Local Republicans learned about this from the Palm Beach Post article.

Well they've done it again! What has happened to their liberal "except all" bull? This is simply the washuped Dems not wanting to give up their power to the new generation. They need to go into retirement where "has beens" belong. They have already well over stayed there feeding frenzy at our tax trough(Carol, Burt, Monty and the gang). The Dems always want to blame us for all of their problems. This one is all theirs! No guts to come out publicly against one of their own, for their racist remarks show their true colors. Disgusting!

United we stand behind our troops and our President! God Bless America! Every Saturday somewhere in the county from 4pm til dusk we need to show our support from now until the end of the war. The support was overwhelmingly for yesterday. Let's get the troops out in the streets.
