What kind of BS is this from the Washinton Times?? "Likewise" saying freepers wanted these shirts to demonstrate white pride?
To: HighWheeler
The Whites concede that some T-shirt buyers missed the point and saw them as a statement of white pride. Likewise, when a conservative Web site, FreeRepublic.com, ran a story about the North Dakota art exhibit, it was flooded with responses from readers asking where to buy the jerseys.
The point was whining about manufactured and silly preceived racial grievances.
We didnt miss the point, we mocked it.

Rep. Frank Pallone Jr., New Jersey Democrat, in September introduced the Native Act to Transform Images in Various EnvironmentsI wonder how long he worked to come up with that stupid source for an acronym.

With all the Indian casinos, how about the "One armed bandits" as a mascot name.
To: dead
Yeah, I know.
The writers of this article obviously have no humor or sense of the sarcastic and cynical.

This is really pathetic.
They insist that WE be insulted...and when we refuse?
HAHAHAHA!!!
Ok...but get this...in 5-10 years, they're going to realize that all the mascots celebrate either US or the very worst of society!

We didnt miss the point, we mocked it.
Sure did. I remember that.
To: dead
I am sure we were mocking it, but I think that point was missed by the author.

You have to love it when the liberals get pissed off because white people aren't sensitive.
Atlanta White Devils ... that's one's hilarious .... of course, it might get you shot at ;)
The Paleskins would be a good name along the same lines ... pretty mellow and clear cut.

Do you think "Whities for Sharpton" shirts would sell as well?
Whities for Sharpton Co-Chair.

Likewise, when a conservative Web site, FreeRepublic.com, ran a story about the North Dakota art exhibit, it was flooded with responses from readers asking where to buy the jerseys. Did FR get a donation from this school? We enrichened them much more than they could have done locally. Call it a tithe.

At our local Renfest this year we performed a masque in which I portrayed a noble Native American. All us NNAs decided that we needed good Indian names.
I wanted to be "Dances on Tables," but that was deemed not exotic enough, so I opted for "Gyrates for Wampum."

"Cleveland Honkies! Where do I buy it? I think I'd pay $100 for a jersey so emblazoned. I'm completely serious," said one e-mailer.Who is passing on e-mail?

The reporter, Valerie Richardson, was smart not to include her email address. She probably doesn't want to know about how we were mocking the idea.

That's lamer than The Committee to Re-elect the President 30 years ago.
To: HighWheeler
We didn't see it as White Pride. We were mocking the PC crowd.
To: HighWheeler
Why not mock the dufus that wrote this article.
