As a note to the reading public, this extreme leftism is strictly generated on the campus itself. The town and surrounding area is about as conservative as it gets in Pennsylvania.

I was there in the designer hippie phase in the late 60's and early 70's. We were more into festival than PC. That came later.

It is only slightly amusing when I am solicited for donations, up to and including leaving my "estate" to the University. I finally just had them take my name off the list.

I never doubted the quality of the formal education I received there and never regretted the content of the informal education. Those were days of true diversity without censorship. What a shame this all is.

Next, the Dean of Students, Richard Ferraro, got in on the act, alleging that he was "sure" that I specifically intended for The Counterweight to hurt people. We never got a chance to refute this lunacy, because shortly after making those defamatory charges in front of 40 people Ferraro ordered us to leave, adding that if we did not do so immediately, he would call the campus police.

It makes me wonder if Ferraro might have a copy of "Mein Kampf" lying around his house.
