I reckon it's time for Bush to give us another speech on how much confidence he has in those runing the FBI, CIA, ETC.

I remember right after 9/11, as there was talk about developing new law enforcement procedures (which eventually became the Patriot Bill), the FBI was telling us that we were going to have to get used to negotiating with bad guys in order to gain info about other bad guys.

I guess this is the fruit of that thinking.
