SACRAMENTO - In the afterglow of the technology boom, Sacramento was the land of plenty. The state could slice sales taxes on farm machinery by $40 million a year while providing hundreds of millions extra to expand health care for poor children.

Davis...is expected to urge the White House to push a short-term economic stimulus package and press the Bush administration to send California $350 million for additional homeland security costs since the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks. This has been a big part of Davis' playbook: blame the Bush Administration for anything and everything.

It's a cold , hard business but somebody has got to enjoy the irony here. To top it off, she's a cutie.

Yes, that's fine.
Do what is best for you .
All your posting activity is really appreciated!
Regarding the cutie manning the shovel, I have a young 10 or so I think, doing well with her skating lessons, that might be interested in doing that kind of a job.
She is a cutie also, tall and lean, with baby blue eyes like my wife!
Maybe the Mighty Ducks will try the program!

It makes sense in an business kind of way. You're providing a young person with a chance for exposure to professional sports. .. Hmmm..? On second thought.. I looks like the 2 players are ready to board this gal in the picture. ;-)
Good luck to your young Bo Derek ("10")..urr granddaughter in training. :-)

It's tough being Governor of a third world nation. Agreed. He sure is begging for aid like the despot of a third world nation. Wanna bet he won't hate the rest of the U.S., just like the third world nations?
