[history]
Two boxcars full of mayonnaise were part of a 33-car train derailment yesterday, and thousands of jars of mayo spilled onto the tracks in Beaver County.
Other boxcars containing corn kernels and plastic pellets also lost their loads, as did a tanker filled with molasses.

Reminds me of a classic University of Oregon bumper sticker referencing their rivals at Oregon State, which read: "You can lick our Beavers but you can't lick our Ducks!"

When I was growing up my mother made me peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches everyday Interesting. My Grandmother used to mix peanut butter with molasses and real dairy butter. It was very good.
(Btw, she made her own mayonnaise from scratch. It was very good too)

Other boxcars containing corn kernels and plastic pellets also lost their loads, as did a tanker filled with molasses. Two trains were running side-by-side when the boxcars and tankers derailed...
Remember the Reese's TV ads where the peanut butter collided with the chocolate?
Corn kernels, plastic pellets, molasses, mayo.
Attention marketing geniuses.

"as did a tanker filled with molasses."I bet it came out of the tanker slower than molasses in January.

Clearly Al Quaeda is attempting to bring us to our knees by disrupting our condiment supplies.
But by God, we've still got all our ketchup...we stand tall.

I'm relieved I wasn't the only person to see humor potential in the juxtaposition of beavers, mayo and molasses.
RP, since it's technically a "derailed" thread (because the train derailed), I'm wondering if the Badger approves.
