3 AM after midnight tonight, or 3 AM after midnight Monday?

I KNEW I should have asked for one of those international time-clocks for Christmas!

If the speech is at 11am on Monday in Baghdad, then it is at 3am Monday eastern time. (3 hours after midnight tonight.) Our clocks are 8 hours behind theirs. They are east of us--they get the sun first.
